Easy-to-understand and user friendly
Adding a new forecast is easy.Select "Map" or "Catalog". "Map": A world map comes up that can be panned and zoomed. Select the part of the world you are interested in and press the download button to request the file from the server. Download the GRIB files via map, name the file and check the information in detail. Animate the weather data to watch a weather movie. Or simply use the meteogram feature and analyse forecasts and trends in detail.
Or download the weather forecast via catalog to get a selection of more weather information from the Internet, including weather fax, satellite pictures or radar and additional GRIB file downloads (internet connection required).
Despite higher cost, best GRIB viewer I have found, displays contours and raw data on easy to read charts. Easy to select your area and download files, does not crash and putting gps position in centre screen allows local charts to be quickly downloaded. (a user's review)
